How can I enable the 3D view of the town?

Click on this button

or

Go in "My account" then click on "My Options" tab and tick "Enable the 3D view of the town".

Move in the 3D town

  1. Move in the village

Click on the ground with the left mouse button and hold it down, then drag the cursor in the direction you want the ground to go. Make a swifter movement with your mouse to move faster.

In the shortcut menu, the search bar will allow you to centre the view on the chosen building or house or person's field, and so on.

You can also zoom in and zoom out by clicking on the magnifying glasses in the upper right corner of the screen, near the shortcut menu.

  2. Enter a building

Click on a building or a house that you found by moving the village with your mouse or by using the shortcut menu, to go inside.

Click on the name of a town building or on the bailiwick or, for example, on "My first field" to access the corresponding page.

  3. Display information

Place your mouse cursor on a building, a house, or a field to see information about them, such as the owner or the address of a house.

You can also display all the information of all the buildings on the screen by clicking on the eye symbol in the upper right of the screen, near the magnifiying glasses used to zoom. You can also press CTRL on your keyboard to achieve the same effect.

My house

  1. Setting up my house and moving it

At the beginning of the game, you start with a default house that you must place in the village at one of the locations that the mayor has chosen for housing. You can move your house to another free spot whenever you feel like it.

When you place or move your house, it will get an address that will appear on your profile sheet if the house is located near a road.

  2. Move inside your house

To go into your house or someone else's, click on it in the village. To find a house, enter the owner's name in the search bar in the shortcut menu.

You can not manipulate household goods or furnishings when you are in someone else's house!

Once you are in the garden, click on the house to see its interior.

To move in the garden or inside the house, hold the left mouse button down while dragging the cursor, the same as in the village.

  3. Change houses

When you visit your house, the "New models" tab allows you to buy other types of houses, either by using pounds or gems. Click on the "+" to see its detailed characteristics.

Some houses can be bought only by Level 2 or Level 3 characters.

Some houses have a room which will automatically be used as a workshop. You can not place furnishings in it but if your character owns a workshop, then you will see it furnished in 3D. This is the case for the blacksmith for instance. If you do not see your workshop there, that means that our graphic designers are still working at creating it. Please be patient!

If you own several types of house, you can switch from one to the other by using the "Management of my house" tab. Warning: switching houses or buying a new one will store all your furnishings in your inventory and may change your address if the houses are different sizes.

  4. Furnish my home

A furnishing is a 3D object which can be placed in a house, a garden or in a village by the mayor or the planning assistant. Some furnishings can only be used inside houses, others only in gardens and so on. A furnishing can be a piece of furniture, a plant, or a coating for walls for instance.

To furnish your garden and the inside of your house, click on the button on the upper right corner of your screen called "Develop my property". On the right of the screen, you can open a menu to see the furnishings which can be used in your property.

Please note that in order to place a 3D object into your house or your garden, it must be in your property inventory, not in your personal inventory!

A left-click with your mouse lets you move an item of furnishing that is already installed or visible in your property. A right-click lets you rotate an object that you selected by left-clicking.

To store a furnished item that is in your house or garden, just drop it in the chest located in the lower left of the screen. First left-click the item to select it and make the chest appear..

How can I buy furnishings?

  1. Produce them in your workshop!

All the new 3D objects can be built by craftsmen in their workshops. It is up to you craftsmen to look for the new objects you can produce and see what you need to make them!

There are also two new jobs: the sculptor who can work clay and stone, and the botanist who can grow trees and flowers and then trim them in his or her workshop.

  2. Buy them on the market

Once the craftsmen have produced their first furnishings, you will see them on the market and will be able to buy (or sell!) them.

Before buying a 3D object on the market, you can place your cursor on it (just as if you wanted to see the label of a potion or the number of remaining uses of a pickaxe). You will then see an image of the object.

  3. Buy them with gems using Premium Access.

If you don't want to wait for a craftsman to build furnishings or if there aren't enough 3D objects in your village, you can click on "Premium Access" in the lower left of the screen, in the "3D furnishings" tab.

  4. Buy them in the "Develop my property" menu with gems

Another way to quickly buy furnishings is by using the menu that lists the furnishings in your house.

Place my fields and my tavern

To place your fields in the village, go to "My property" and to the tab of the field you want to place. You will see a new menu called "Location for a field". Click on "Put this field in the village".

Be careful, once a field is placed in the village, it can't be moved elsewhere!

Follow the same procedures for the taverns.

Develop the village as a mayor or planning assistant

  1. Name the planning assistant

The mayor can now name a planning assistant who can modify the village in the same way as him.

We strongly advise the mayor and the assistant not to modify the village at the same time because one won't know what the other is doing.

  2. Develop the village

The mayor and the planning assistant can access the menu "Develop the village" in the town hall. This is only possible after 4 days as a mayor.

The most important thing at the beginning is to place "free spots" in the village. Inhabitants will be able to place their houses, fields and taverns there. This will allow the mayor and his assistant to design the village and to decide how it will be laid out.

They can also place town buildings and the bailiwick.

Right now, they cannot move the properties of other characters.

They can place roads and high walls in or around the village. When a portion of a road is placed, a street name is randomly generated. Houses near the road will have an address on this street. The address system will be improved in the near future.

They can place specific features in the village such as bushes, fountains, statues and so on.

All these actions have a cost in resources (wood, stone, various trees, ...) as well as in the "building points" that the town hall must possess.

For the moment, a very important stock of building points has been given to all the town halls to allow them to develop their villages rapidly. How to get more of them will be set up after this first period of village development.

The mayor and his assistant can delete road sections, walls, locations and civic features but the resources and construction points used to create them will be lost.
